Alternative pROcesses
In the ever-evolving world of photography, alternative processes have become a captivating avenue for artistic expression. Among these intriguing techniques are Anthotype, Cyanotype, and Chemigrams. Anthotype involves extracting pigments from plant materials and using them to create unique prints. Cyanotype, on the other hand, relies on a combination of chemicals to produce distinct blue-toned images. Lastly, Chemigrams merge elements of photography and painting, allowing for the exploration of unconventional materials and experimental techniques. As an aspiring photographer, I embarked on my journey, delving into these alternative processes in 2023. The allure of the unknown and the desire to push the boundaries of my visual storytelling compelled me to explore these artistic avenues. And though my collection has just begun, I yearn to expand it further, infusing it with more enchanting and unconventional photographic techniques.
